I wrote this wrong, I'll update it as soon as I get time.

This is the Original formula I used (When I include enchants/gems) to determine GearScore. Because I am unable to access gem/enchant information in the same way I use to I have created a seperate formula that is able to generate the same scores but is based more on iLevel then sum of stats. I will post this formula here soon.







Step by Step Breakdown:
  • For each stat on an item:
  1. Take the sum of that stat
  2. Multiply it by the V value in the first table.
  3. Raise the number to the 1.7095 power.
  • Add all these modified stat values together.
  • Lower to the 1.7095 power.
  • Multiply by "L" for the equipment type for that item.
  • Multiply by "C" which is a scaling variable used to set the scales of GearScores wherever you want. C was 1.74, but has increased to 1.8618 to compensate for loss of enchants/gems.
  • Add the values of all GearScore Items to find a player's GearScore.
Example Item: ]Wrists of Madeup]: +25 Stamina, +10mp5, +10 Intellect
  • ( [Stamina] * 2 )^1.7095 = 802.40
  • ( [Intellect] * 1 )^1.7095 = 51.23
  • ( [MP5] * 2.5 )^1.7095 = 245.35
  • 802.40 + 51.23 + 245.35 = 1098.98
  • 1098.98 ^ ( 1 / 1.7095 ) = 60.10
  • 60.10 * 0.5625 = 33.81
  • 33.81 * 1.74 = 58.82
  • GearScore: 59
